KIRILL LISSIJENKO finished his bachelor’s degree studies with prof. Lilian Semper, Irina Zahharenkova, Age Juurikas (2010) and as a chamber musician with Matti Reimann at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (2016). He graduated with a master’s degree (prof. Hui-Ying Liu-Tawaststjerna) from the Sibelius Academy in 2016. In addition, Lissijenko has attended master classes of Dr. Tamas Ungar, Rolf Plagge, Cyprien Katsaris, Daniel Pollack etc. He has participated with success in piano competitions such as the ”Helm Valtman”, and the ”Con Brio” in Tallinn, and received II prize at the Alion Baltic Competition in 2015. Lissijenko performs often as a soloist and chamber musician in Estonia, Sweden, Russia and Finland. He has collaborated with well-known musicians, such as singers Maria Veretenina, Marion Melnik and Nadia Kurem, flutist Andre Cebrian Garea, violinists Sigrid Kuulmann and Kristina Kriit, clarinetist Toomas Vavilov, trumpet player Neeme Ots, cellist Aare Tammesalu etc. Lissijenko also studied the clavichord with Reinut Tepp and Imbi Tarum and plays it in a baroque ensemble. He has performed with the EMTA Symphony Orchestra conducted by Paul Mägi and with Master Symphony Orchestra in Italy conducted by Sergio Baietta. Lissijenko has worked as a concertmaster of the string department at Georg Ots Music School and is currently teaching at Lasnamäe Music School. He is also the Artistic Director and main organiser of MozartFest.
