XVI TALLINN WINTER FESTIVAL “OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR HEART” 14.02-21.02.2023

This year’s festival has an anniversary smell —
MUSIC TRUST PLMF IS CELEBRATING ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
with a magnificent gala at the Estonia Concert Hall in cooperation with
the Symphony Orchestra of The Tallinn School of Music and Ballet, conductor Jaan Ots.

The Festival has brought light and joy to the month of February for years and awaits the public to
Tallinn Philharmonic House of the Blackheads, Tallinn Town Hall, Swedish St. Michael’s Church and Estonia Concert Hall!

Numerous Estonian master soloists as well as foreign guests from Italy and South-Korea will be performing at the concerts.
The program consists of chamber music as well as musical pieces for orchestras and choirs.
The Festival takes a bow to maestro Jaan Rääts and his music shall be heard in various programs.

We’re glad to announce the traditional free entrance concert
YOUNG TALENTS ON INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY at the Swedish St. Michael’s Church,

where young talents of Tallinn Music Schools will perform.

Choir music at the House of the Blackheads can be heard on the day before Independence Day.

The Youth Program of the Festival will have a lecture-concert
JAAN RÄÄTS AS A CULTURAL FIGURE,
which will be led by the composer’s daugther Eliisa Rääts.

The Festival has helped people in need in our society since 2006 and PLMF has created a charity called
“OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR HEART”.
On 2023 we support the ESTONIAN CANCER SOCIETY.
PLMF will donate 20% of the festival’s ticket fund to them and
we invite you, good people and organizations, to buy tickets to the Festival as well as donate:
