VIRUMAA MUSIC FESTIVAL<\/strong><\/span>
\nwas established with the aim of bringing concert experiences performed by Estonia\u2019s finest musicians to the Ida-Viru and L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The VIII Virumaa Music Festival features 12 diverse events \u2013 choral and chamber music concerts, workshops, and programmes that bring the joy of music to young people in schools.<\/span><\/p>\n

The performers include saxophone quartet SAXISSIMA!<\/strong> \u2013 Rene Laur<\/strong> (soprano saxophone), Emily Urla<\/strong> (alto saxophone), Lauri Sepp<\/strong> (tenor saxophone), Tanel Gatski<\/strong> (baritone saxophone); Virgo Veldi<\/strong> (saxophone), Piia Paemurru<\/strong> (piano); Kristel Eeroja-P\u00f5ldoja<\/strong> (violin), T\u00f5nu Kalm<\/strong> (clarinet), Ebe M\u00fcntel<\/strong> (piano); Toomas Vavilov<\/strong> (clarinet), Neeme Ots<\/strong> (trumpet), Jaan Ots<\/strong> (piano); ETV Girls\u2019 Choir<\/strong>, conducted by Aarne Saluveer<\/strong>; Atlan Karp<\/strong> (baritone), Andre Hinn<\/strong> (piano); and Duo Hoog<\/strong> \u2013 Liina Fidelman<\/strong> (flute) and Mikk Langeproon<\/strong> (accordion).<\/span><\/p>\n

The concert venues are Sillam\u00e4e Cultural Centre, Pajusti Club, J\u00f5hvi Concert Hall, Rakke Cultural Centre, Aseri School Hall, Narva Cultural Centre Rugodiv, Haljala Cultural and Leisure Centre, and Iisaku Community Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the youth programme, concerts will also take place at J\u00f5hvi Gymnasium and J\u00f5hvi Central School, along with a masterclass at the Music Department of Sillam\u00e4e Cultural Centre. Talented students and their teachers from music schools across East and West Virumaa will be recognised at the<\/span>
VII VIRUMAA YOUNG MUSICIAN 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The festival is honoured to have been awarded the European Festivals Association\u2019s EFFE Quality Label for 2026\u20132027.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t
