\"\"The HAYDN BARYTONTRIO BUDAPEST<\/strong> was founded by Kakuk Bal\u00e1zs in 1980 with the intention to revive Joseph Haydn’s almost 200 compositions for baryton – an original instrument of Prince Esterh\u00e1zy Mikl\u00f3s, the Magnificent – in order to perform the pieces in authentic and original instrumentation.
\nThe Ensemble plays all Barytontrios from Haydn as well as quintets, octets and the barytondivertimenti from other composers of the Esterh\u00e1zy circle.

Kakuk Bal\u00e1zs<\/strong>, violoncello, viola da gamba and barytongamba artist, professor for cello and chamber music at <\/span>Franz Liszt Music Academy<\/a> and B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k Conservatory<\/a> in Budapest. As member of the Baroque Quartet Collegium Musicum Budapest he was winner of the competition of “Festival van Vlaanderen” in Br\u00fcgge in 1978. Besides the modern cello he plays all the viols sopran, alt, tenor and bass in originalmensur as well as the 17 string<\/span><\/span> Barytongamba. Prof. Kakuk is a founder and leader of HAYDN BARYTONTRIO BUDAPEST. Worldwide several solo and chamber music concerts, radio, television and CD recordings. A well-known specialist of early music in authentic instruments who has widespread engagement by international music congress, professor of master classes in Hungary and in foreign countries, adjudicator of prominent music competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00e1ndor<\/span><\/strong> J\u00f3zsef<\/strong> has already begun his violin study at the age of 5.
\nHe was a multiple winner of the “Youth Music” Violin Competition in Hungary. Studied at the Bart\u00f3k Conservatory and Franz Liszt Academy of Music with diploma in 1977. He was principal violist in the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, Bochumer Symphoniker, Oper Graz, Hungarian Radio Orchestra, Hungarian State Philharmonic.

Kaszanyitzky Andr\u00e1s<\/strong> received a violoncello artist diploma in 1998 at Franz Liszt Music Academy<\/a>. Winner of several home and foreign competitions. In 1996 he was awarded prize second of Popper Cello Competition in Budapest. He played in the Somogyi Quartet, S\u00e1ndor Frigyes Chamber Orchestra, Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orchestra, and in London City Opera. Permanent member of the Weiner-Sz\u00e1sz Chamber Symphony Orchestra<\/a> and the HAYDN BARYTONTRIO BUDAPEST. Concerts in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Netherlands, Slovakia, Scotland, USA, China and Thailand.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
