Repertoire:  \nI round   1 operatic aria\n1 lied of free choice (advisably two different characters)\nII round  1 aria from oratorio\n1 operatic aria (different from I round)\n1 lied of free choice (different from I round)\nFinale    2 operatic arias (different from I and II round\, one from an Italian operatic repertoire) \n\n  \n\n\n* The chosen repertoire must include works in at least 3 different languages\n* The first two rounds of the National Vocal Contest will take place with piano accompaniment and the finale on the 1st of April as well as the Opera Gala with Pärnu City Orchestra\, cond. Erki Pehk\n* The 2nd round and the Finale of the Nordic-Baltic Vocal Contest will take place with piano accompaniment\, as well as the performance of the winners on the 1st of April at 7 p.m. in Estonia Concert Hall\n* For using the concert master for the performances of the I round 15 EUR must be payed\n* For the preparation of the program of the 2nd round and finale the competitors will be able to use the concert master up to 30 minutes for free; additional rehearsal time will be possible for additional fee with an agreement with the concert master \n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional information:\n \n– All compositions must be performed by heart\n– It is not possible to change the chosen compositions later on\n– The jury has the right to stop the performance of the competitor before the set time limit or if the time limit is exceeded and make other changes in order to conduct the competition in a better way\, the decision of the jury is final\n– The competitor will be responsible for having the necessary notes for the compositions (excluding the notes for the orchestra for the finals)\n– It is advisable for the competitors to perform with their concertmasters\n– If the competitor does not comply with regulations of the competition either intentionally or in some other way then he/she will be disqualified\n– The rounds of the competition are open to audience and to radio and television if possible\, the competitors will not be compensated for interviews\, television and radio broadcasts or recordings\n– The finalists in both age groups will be given 20-30 minutes rehearsal time each on the day of the Finale in Estonia Concert Hall \n\n  \nCONTEST RULES: \n\n1. Contest will take place in two age groups:\nI age group (National Vocal Contest in cooperation with Klaudia Taev International Contest)\nthe competition is open to citizens of Estonia and to foreigners living permanently or studying in Estonia:\n– men who are born after 1st of May in 1983 and\n– women who are born after 1st of May 1985. \n\n\nII age group (Nordic-Baltic Vocal Contest) – the competition is open to singers from Estonia\, Latvia\, Lithuania\, Finland\, Sweden\, Norway\, Denmark\, Iceland and Russia:\n– men who are born from 1st of January 1970 to 30th of April 1983 and\n– women who are born from 1st of January 1972 to 30th of April 1985 \n\n2.
