Projects

PLMF actively searches for new possibilities to bring music and our best musicians closer to the audience. From 2009 we have launched many integration projects to bring our Russian minority closer to native Estonians through music.

"Heart to Heart" takes classical music at the highest level to schools and brings both Russian and Estonian speaking students to the audience. After the concert there are different workshops for interaction.

"Nations Choir" joins Russian and Estonian speaking music lovers in a choir at the Russian Culture Center. The coir meets once a week and once a week every participant has an individual singing lesson.

"Fiddler on the Roof" stages the well-known musical with a cast of both Estonian and Russian speaking young and professional musicians. The audience for the performances also consists of people from both roots.
