PLMF kutsub ettelaulmisele

PLMF (Pille Lill Music Fund) invites opera singers to an
AUDITION
on the 30th of March from 7pm
at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Chamber Hall C405 (Rävala St. 16, Tallinn)
for
agentur klein and Festival della Valle d'Itria

- All singers with work experience in a professional opera theatre are welcome.
- Application in your own words and CV(with links to recordings recommended) to be sent by e-mail to plmf@plmf.ee (e-mail title AUDITION) no later than the 25th of March 2012. A preliminary choice will be made and invitations to the audition sent out no later then the 27th of March. You may come with your own pianist, if it’s not possible, then PLMF will guarantee you one but we are not able to provide any extra rehearsals (also please mark it in your application form if you need a  pianist from PLMF).
- Participation fee (for everyone chosen except students of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) of 15€ must be paid before the 30th of March 2012 to the Pille Lill Music Fund account (no. 332069700006) in Danske Bank, IBAN EE803300332069700006, Explanation: AUDITION.
- You will be asked to prepare 2 arias (with different character) in total not more than 7 minutes. One of them will be asked to be performed.

is an artist agency working internationally for opera singers and conductors founded.
Antonina Klein – for ten years she worked in the organisation and planning departments of various German speaking theatres, for example as Head of Artistic Planning at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim and most recently, as Artistic Administrator at the Komische Oper Berlin.Then she worked at the distinguished concert promoter Società del Quartetto in Milan and after that at the artists’ agency Allied Artists in London. Before opening her own agency in September 2005, she also  worked for the European office of Pinnacle Arts New York
Antonia Klein also holds seminars for young singers at music colleges. One of theses seminars took place in June 2010 at the Mozarteum Salzburg. In August 2010, she was on the judging panel of the Competizione dell'Opera in Bremen and Dresden.

Festival della Valle d'Itria
Alberto Triola – Artistic director of the Festival della Valle d'Itria. Mr. Triola worked for 14 seasons at the Teatro alla Scala as the assistant of the Artistic director (from 1995 to 2000 as the assistant of Maestro Riccardo Muti), at the Teatro Carlo Felice (as Casting secretary, later as Artistic director) and for 6 years at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona (as the Artistic and Music director) and he was the Artistic director of the Scuola dell'Opera Italiana (Teatro Comunale) from 2008-2011.
Gennaro Carrieri – General Director of the Fondazione Paolo Grassi. The foundation organizes and supports the Festival della Valle d'Itria in Martina Franca.
