The Fund was launched on 7 February 2003,
in the Town Hall of Tallinn, in the presence of its Patron, The Earl of
Carlisle as well as the Cultural Minister of Estonia and many Ambassadors
to the Republic of Estonia. Estonian friends of Opera and Music from all
walks of life were also present.
The aim of the Pille Lill Music Fund is to train talented young professional
musicians in Estonia and develop their skills so that they can perform
alongside their European counterparts on the International stage.
