Artimus Ensemble

The artimus ensemble was founded by musicians from the Baltic Sea Countries of Poland, Lithuania and Estonia who all share a passion for chamber music.

Magdalena Filipczak, Henry-David Varema and Ula Ulijona have versatile musical backgrounds ranging from piano trio, string trio and quartet playing to soloist appearances at major international venues.

In collaboration with pianists Lukasz Filipczak and Marek Ruszczynski the ensemble performs a variety of chamber music encompassing all the different formations from duos to piano quartets.

The artimus ensemble's goals are to surprise audiences with their innovative concert programs, to constantly develop their range of sound and to interpret works of the great composers with intensity, integrity and passion.
